Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 clauses

The Consumer Contracts ( Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 comes into effect on 13 june 2014. After this date lettings terms of business with consumer landlords must comply. These updated terms come with:guidance on what information must be given to consumer landlords under the Regulations; when the notice of right to cancel must be given; request for the services to start immediately; effect of the exercise of the right to cancel. These are guideline template clauses for agents to adapt to their own terms of business and will require tailoring.
