PainSmith Solicitors is delighted to announce that Laura Simpson who has worked in the practice as a Paralegal as from April 2016 became a Trainee Solicitor on July 1 2017. The next two years as a trainee is the final step for Laura in qualifying as a Solicitor. Many of you have dealt with Laura since she started working in the Firm and we hope that you will be as thrilled as Marveen to announce her promotion and the next move on her career ladder.
Laura has a degree in Law with Business from the University of Portsmouth which has helped her in understanding the complexities and business elements of matters she has handled for some of the Firm’s clients. After graduating she worked for a local authority which gave her a rounded view of the law from a different perspective. Laura then began the next stage of her career studying for the Legal Practice Diploma in Law at the University of Law in Guildford. It is a very intensive course which combined over two years part time together with a full time job stretches most people; however as anybody who knows Laura will tell you she completed the course successfully and came to PainSmith ready to gain more experience and reach her goal. Laura commented she has enjoyed working at PainSmith where she has gained a lot of experience and knowledge. Marveen Smith however acknowledges that clients should be aware that it is Laura’s dedication and hard work that have enabled her to learn so much and provide the service she continuously strives to achieve in everything she tries within the Firm.
Marveen is delighted to have Laura as a Trainee and hopes she will have her as a member of staff for a long period of time.
